UsePopcorn!

UsePopcorn! is a dynamic movie search engine powered by the OpenMovie Database API. The app allows users to search for their favorite movies, rate them, and add them to a custom list. This personalized list persists at the session level using the web browser's native localStorage, ensuring your preferences remain available during your session.

The app's development was a rewarding experience and served as a practical introduction to several advanced React concepts, including custom hooks -hence the playful name "usePopcorn()" 😉 - state management, and seamless user interactions. UsePopcorn! also features smooth loading spinners for a polished user experience and thoughtful state logic to handle API calls effectively.

This project highlights my ability to integrate external APIs, manage state efficiently, and create reusable React components. It showcases my attention to detail and dedication to building engaging, functional web applications with a clean and intuitive interface.
